Local Artist Celebrates 125 Years of New Hampshire Land Conservation Efforts through "Worth Preserving." Cheryl Shanahan's new exhibition connects paintings of Franconia Notch and Mount Major with the landscapes protected for generations of Granite Staters by the Forest Society. This new collection of contemporary landscape paintings opens with a public reception on Thursday, September 17 from 11am to 1pm at the Conservation Center. A portion of the sales of artwork is donated directly to the non-profit Forest Society to support their ongoing efforts. RSVPs requested no later than Thursday, September 10, 2026. Thank you!
