"I am convinced that a membership in the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce is the best return on investment a business or nonprofit can make."

Junior Service League of Concord Presents: Velvet and Vines Fundraising Affair

The Junior Service League of Concord (JSL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, 100% volunteer-run, women’s organization, made up of dedicated women committed to making a positive impact in our community. Founded in 1931, our mission has always been to promote philanthropic, educational, and civic programs in Concord, as well as provide volunteer service to the communities in which we live. As we celebrate our 95th service year in 2025, we continue our tradition of keeping costs low and distributing nearly 100% of the funds we raise to support women and children in crisis, and other non-profit organizations that align with our mission throughout the State of New Hampshire.

We are excited to host our Annual Fall Fundraising Affair on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Merrimack Valley Railroad Function Hall in Northfield, New Hampshire. This year’s “Velvet & Vines” theme will bring an intimate and elegant atmosphere to celebrate, local wines and craft beers, live music, and a robust silent auction.

We are setting an ambitious fundraising goal of $12,000.  We routinely support and volunteer with local organizations, including: The Mayhew Program, The Circle Program, The Blue Duke Care Closet, The Pass Along Project, The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Concord, The Friendly Kitchen, and The Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire.  We also grant to families and individuals in crisis within Merrimack County on a case-by-case basis.
